"I attended Kyung’s 12 week class on successful aging and it was great! An interesting combination of Korean yoga, shaking and vibrating and right/left brain exercises! Stretches mind and body! I have trained for a marathon and successfully completed it at age 61 but …found this class better for my body than all that running!!! I encourage everyone to sign up for any of Kyung’s classes. She is fantastic!!!!!"

"I found the Brain Education for Successful Aging series to be enjoyable, enlightening and helpful.  It provided a means to improve focus, develop positive thoughts and habits as well as challenge my brain via the various physical and coloring exercises.  I recommend this program for those who want to take  steps to ensure a positive aging process."

"I am a student of Kyung's Austin Center for Holistic Healing & Yoga. My name is Joe Butts, and this is my testimonial to the sustainable well being of my spiritual, mental, and physical health with continued training , and workbook exercises presented by Kyung. As a result of the Brain Education Workshops, Dahn Yoga Training, and the Dahn Mu Do Movements (Korean form of Tai Chi), a spiritual transformation has occurred, as tho awakening from a long slumber. I too must mention the other half of this dynamic dual. My Aikido Instructor, Seagan has lead me to the gentler form of the Martial Arts. Working with Seagan has also improved my ability to be more connected, and sensitive to the movements around me. Aside from the obvious, other benefits of the continuous practice with this dynamic dual, is a sense of well being, and experiencing the now. Being in the moment allows me to better focus my thoughts, and energy on what's in front of me now. I find my mind not to be as full of chatter, or worrying about the future as much, but actually doing something in the moment that gives a feeling of peace, and serenity. You could say an overall feeling of well being. Who couldn't benefit from that? It's time to get connected to a better sense of well being, and overall health. The Zen Master told the student, "The journey of a 1,000 miles begins with the first step". Don't let past life experience keep you from your path to true self. Take the first step on your path of inward transformation to a better life, and a feeling of peaceful tranquility, and health. Have a life changing transformation, and join me, and countless others who have benefited by attending The Austin Center for Holistic Healing & Yoga." ~Joe Butts Jr. Real estate Investor, Austin, TX Oct 2011

"Yoga Classes:  Kyung and the Center offer 3 sets of Yoga, each for two days per week.  Breathwork, worldly meditation, stretching, energy tapping, brainwave vibration, Dahn Mudo (a type of Tai Chi), partner exercises and brain coordination exercises are what I do in these sets.  I have increased my concentration (left/right brain exercises), muscle strength and endurance (the world pose, chair pose, superwoman pose, and Dahn Mudo).  There is also a release of tension, stress and negative beliefs (through brain wave vibration and dance) and a lot of varied breathing exercises.  Kyung gives members 2 consultation session per year with membership to review goals and progress with her, coupled with a relaxing session of body work.  Kyung is passionate about touching lives wholistically and working for peace amonst all people of our planet.  She never tires of displaying courage, perseverance, warmth and compassion to others in her yoga healing community.  Her classes are fun.  The music is uplifting and percussive; the body stretches feel good; one’s emotions and stress and released cathartically by a brain wave vibration experience.
Community Healing Day at the ACHHYCenter:  It was good to give to a charity in need financially by paying for a variety of healers’ services.  It was a fun and educational afternoon and made me feel a part of a community of like-minded people dedicated to peaceful and healthy lives.
Shim Sung:  It increased my energy because it helped me focus on what is important to my life.  This is one more fight to be yourself and own your own power.  It pushed me to see I am stronger and more creative than I thought.  The seminar facilitators took good care of us so we could fully focus on our own growth.

Chakra Training:  I enjoyed pairing up at ACHHY Center and practicing the sensing of the various seven chakras and in preparing for the seminar by practicing on each other.  We could feel the energy through our hands.  It was amazing to feel these differences in energies.

21 Day Training:  Kyung was very positive and encouraging in the pursuit of our personal goals during the 21 day seminar every day.  Together we supported one another by writing our goals for increased concentration, physical strength training, and other life achievements and spiritual exercises.  We visualized their fruition in the now and mirrored them to each other for the 21 days, helping them seep deeper into our consciousness."

Kay in May 2009Kay in HG-4Holistic Yoga (also known as Dahn Yoga) sessions with Kyung have given me many benefits. I find that stress is relieved, I am more flexible, my digestion is better, I am able to enter into a meditative state, I am stronger and I experience joy. Kyung is able to individualize the Yoga sessions to fit the abilities of each participant so that each gets maximum benefit. I recommend these Yoga sessions for anyone who wants to improve their health. Kyung also gives Healing sessions. After one of her healing sessions, I feel so relaxed, so free of stress, and so much more ready to face the challenges of my life. I highly recommend Kyung's Healing sessions.‎”

I've had a fantastic experience with Kyung who I've been working with on some personal goals (ie weight loss) for a month now that I'ld like to recommend and let you know about (something I rarely do!) Her name is Kyung, she is from Korea and teaches Brain Wave Vibration workshops and classes (Tues @ 10:15-11:15 and Sat @ 4:45-5:45) as an independent instructor at Galaxy Dance Studios. Her classes focus on waking up and working one's core/ abs/ intestines/ power center and seem to be mostly ab work. In my words, it's like eastern Pilates, in her words it's a combination of changing one's brain waves and waking up one's center. Her private sessions of coaching & healing focuses on the stomach area- she begins with a light touch that gradually gets stronger and ends with powerful lighting fast cupping. It feels great, not harsh at all and relaxes the whole body~ I feel like I could float thru the ceiling when she's done and the great feeling lasts a long time! Her coaching is grounded in an efficient & specific form. Kyung is one of the most Spiritually adept persons I've met. Truly, I can't recommend her enough :). I've lost 7#'s the first month and feel confident I will reach my ideal weight by the end of our 3 month program!

IMG 2209"As an International Rowing Coach, I have been very impressed by the Yoga Classes given by Kyung at the Austin Center for Holistic Healing and Yoga. I’m always on the lookout for new ways for the rowers to cross train.  The “2008 Physical guidelines for Americans” stresses the need for us all to do 150 minutes of exercise weekly to be healthy. Three sessions a week with Kyung covers this and as the three sessions will include one of intestinal healing, one of Dahn Mu Do movement and one of deep stretching, the program is extensive, well designed and balanced. There are a variety of moves  in the seventy five minute classes designed to strength the core muscles of the body and thus promote good health for now and the future.  The Brain Wave Vibration section in every lesson allows us all to relax and escape the stresses of modern living but, best of all, the classes are fun.  I can thoroughly recommend the Austin Center for Holistic Healing and Yoga" Maureen Simpson, Gold Level Coach, Amateur Rowing Association, Great Britain - May 2011

I really enjoy and feel an enormous benefit since taking classes with Kyung at the Austin center for holistic healing and yoga. A few years back , I suffered from high anxiety which started when I was 21 and progressively got worse since. I felt like I was slowly losing myself and the “Real “ me inside was dying to feel normal and come out and play again. It was so difficult and extremely scary. It all started with a hyperventilation and panic attack and that became a huge fear of mine. I had anxiety about getting another one and it slowly began to mentally paralyze me. I didn’t want to leave my apartment or even engage in social settings with friends. I had completely lost it and I felt like I’d rather die than suffer from this because I did not enjoy life anymore. I could not give up though and I  never wanted to become dependant on prescription drugs. After practicing Yoga for a while, attending classes regularly…I truly felt like a window of hope and healing was opened. I felt like I knew what the true meaning of life was again and I finally got myself back. It wasn’t just the physical benefit that helped, it was the fact that I felt safe again , around people and around myself in this world. The meditation involved was healing for me and all the knowledge I gained in learning about my body, spirit and mind helped me to understand that I had control of my own happiness. I really felt like my spirit was lifted, I became more aware, and even though I wasn’t so religious,I did become more spiritual. I felt like I was closer to God, that God was around me, I felt closer to people and was able to connect with them very easily. This path I chose came to me when I was so desperate and prayed for an answer, some solution to end my pain. I am so happy today, full of life and excited about living in the world.  I continue to practice as much as I can now, every time I practice Yoga with Kyung, I feel revived and at peace no matter how my day was.

I've been taking classes at the Austin Center for Holistic Healing & Yoga for
several months now. Kyung, the Korean-born teacher/owner, is wonderful!
I LOVE the Korean-style yoga she teaches. It entails lot of meridian opening exercises and calisthenics. It's wonderful! I feel great and look great, too!
The yoga room is cool (no hot yoga here!) and the floor is padded, so there's no need for a mat. Everyone should try this style of yoga at least once! Good vibes here :)))
